Egyptian Museum in Cairo
The Egyptian Museum in Cairo contains the largest amount of monuments in the entire world which estimated 250,000 artifacts, what's available to see 160,000 pieces and the rest in storage. The Egyptian¬ government started building this Museum¬ in 1897 and finished 1901.the Egyptian ¬Museum contains 107 halls which are filled with monuments.
It's was designed in Neoclassical style¬ and its two floors, the first one displays mainly the old and middle kingdoms ¬artifacts and some monuments for the new Kingdom.
The most important treasures are for King Tut Ankh Amon, second floor with huge amount of treasures which were found in his tomb at Luxor but all the treasures transferred to the Egyptian Museum. There ¬is a room for Mummified animals also, second floor.
The Royal Mummies for Pharaohs are amazing and it displays Mummies for the most¬ famous pharaohs such as Ramses II.
